1. Who we are
Patch Adventures is a travel brand operated by Leatherback Travel Pty Ltd (ABN 24 631 228 898). When you visit our website, sign up to our newsletter, make an enquiry, or book a trip with us, we may collect some information about you. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it.
We take your privacy seriously – and we’ve written this policy in plain English so it’s easy to understand.
2. What information we collect
When you browse our website
We use website analytics and advertising tools to understand how people find and use our website. This includes things like which pages you visit, how long you spend on them, and how you arrived. This data is aggregated and helps us improve your experience – we can’t identify you personally from it.
When you sign up to our newsletter
We collect your name and email address, which we store securely in our email marketing platform. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send you.
When you make an enquiry
When you contact us, your enquiry is managed through our customer support system. Your contact details and enquiry history are stored in our customer management system so we can respond to you and keep track of your journey with us.
When you book a trip
To process your booking we’ll need your personal details including your full name, contact information, and payment details. We offer two payment methods – direct bank transfer and credit card payment via a secure third party payment processor. We never store your full credit card details on our systems.
When you access our customer portal
If you are a confirmed Patch Adventures traveller with access to our customer portal, please refer to the Privacy Notice within the portal for information about how we handle your data there.

- Respond to your enquiries and manage your booking
- Send you our newsletter (only if you’ve signed up)
- Improve our website and understand what’s working
- Show you relevant ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google if you’ve visited our website

4. Who we share your information with
We don’t sell your data. Ever. We share it only with trusted third party service providers that help us run our business – including our email marketing platform, customer management systems, payment processors, and advertising platforms. Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and we encourage you to read them if you’d like to know more.
5. Cookies
Our website uses cookies – small files stored on your device that help us understand how you’re using our site. You can adjust your cookie settings in your browser at any time, though some features of our website may not work as well if you do.
