Cannot recommend highly enough. Entire trip through the 5 Stans was extremely well planned and managed, a lot of thought has gone into ensuring everyone's comfort, places of interest and fun things to do. Everything and everyone felt genuine, from our tour leader Begaim, the drivers, local guides and the people we met. Their passion for their countries, willingness to share history, local stories and traditional skills, patience and flexibility in dealing with a bunch of middle-aged ladies, and ability to keep us all entertained, was nothing short of amazing. Astounding was the length Patch workers went to in looking after those in our group needing medical attention. Such willingness to go beyond expectation is extraordinary. Can't wait to go on another exciting adventure with Patch.

Armenia and Georgia were both unique countries, full of surprises and without the crowds. The scenery was spectacular, the people so friendly and I felt very safe there. Going into the homes of the locals and experiencing their hospitality was a highlight, as was the hands on craft and cooking we undertook. Our amazing tour guide was a walking history book and she went way and beyond to make sure we had the perfect experience. The food was unexpectedly fresh, healthy and so delicious and abundant that we all had to undo buttons. All in all a unique adventure with hopefully many more to come.

5 Stans trip was exceptional, beauty everywhere, manmade, historical and natural. The guides were excellent, deeply knowledgable, fun and genuinely wanting our group to experience and enjoy. Food was plentiful and really nice and accommodation was also of a very high standard. This trip is stimulating and provides much food for thought, highly recommended.

The itinerary was amazing & full of wonderful hands on experiences, chilled train rides, lovely lunches in local homes. The accommodation fabulous. The Craft and Culture Tour of Uzbekistan exceeded my expectations. There was so much to do! The people are so friendly and treat you as honoured guests, not tourists. Our guide, Bodir was outstanding, informative and entertaining. He went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after. The hotel accomodation was excellent and I particularly like the boutique family hotel in Samarand where the daughter of the family charmed us by playing the piano before she went to school. Great value!

I recently enjoyed the Five stans tour and am still digesting all that I saw and did. I cannot speak highly enough of the organisation, firstly the initial contact and getting to know you by the company, giving you all the info you need and more before you leave, and then the guides who were all superb. Our guide for the entire tour was Nika, the best! She looked after us as a group and individually according to our needs, she must have been exhausted but never showed it, and was always informative and fun. Each Stan also had its own local guide and they were all very professional, informative and passionate about their country. The tour itself was superbly organised. Each day offered many different things to do, from the beauty of the mosques, madrassas and mausoleums in Uzbekistan to the magnificent mountain and lake scenery in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, the other worldliness of Turkmenistan and the brief but lovely visit to Kazakhstan. I could go on for ages about the diverse landscapes, the culture and the friendly people, but just let me say, if you are thinking of doing this trip, you won't regret it. You will make a lifetime of memories.

A fabulous 15 day tour, starting at Melaka on the Malaysian peninsula before flying to the Malaysian part of Borneo island. In high humidity and heat, our very good guides shared so much information and many experiences with us (14 Patchies). Joh, our main guide, even ferreted out ALL of the “big 5” - Pigmy elephants, Orangutans, Rhino Hornbills and Sun Bears along with multiple crocodiles. Snorkelling was fun. Patch laid a wreath at the ANZAC commemorative ceremony in Sandakan. (Very thoughtful). And the infinity pool at one of the hotels was most welcome. Food was good, itinerary was well planned and participants were very pleasant

Just returned from the Malaysia Borneo Adventure tour and a first time solo traveller, overall a great holiday experience, highlights were the wildlife and being there for ANZAC Day. Really loved the 3 days spent at the river lodge doing river cruises to see all the wildlife which included heaps of monkeys including the Orangutan and Proboscus monkeys, lots of birds and the pygmy elephants crossing the river. We spent time at the Orangutan Sanctuary and also the Sun Bear Conversation centre.Small group of only 14 women was great and we had fantastic guides. On the whole the hotels were also great but unfortunately the Homestay didn't happen because of a death in the village and the alternative accommodation wasn't up to standard. This company cares about their travellers and listens to them, I highly recommend Patch Adventures and I'm planning to travel with them again.

I have just returned from my third Patch Adventure....Bengal to Bhutan. An amazing time was had by all .From the splendid colonial buildings, modern architecture, markets and Indian hospitality we travelled into Bhutan. The contrast was my highlight. I was immersed into a country that has held onto time and traditions, yet aware of progress.Jaw dropping scenery and calmness are immediately noticeable. Our two guides...Indian and Bhutanese looked after our group with ease, all requests addressed.Thankyou Patch for such a well thought out trip.

Sami Lapland Winter adventure in Finland has been a highlight of this year so far. We experienced exhilarating dog sled racing, a dip in the Arctic waters, saunas in our hotel bathrooms and the best Northern Lights displays. There was so much more fun and memories with our wonderful guide. You really need to go to Finland and immerse yourself in the relaxed lifestyle.Thank you Patch Adventures.Looking forward to travelling with you again.
